Whether coming for the weekend or staying for the week, there is so much to do at Forever Young Sanctuary and in the surrounding North Georgia Mountains.

  • Enjoy the pool with good tunes & cold beverages(byob)… Floaties, chase lounges & umbrellas all on site.

  • Fire up the poolside grill and add a picnic to your afternoon

  • Hang with our Herd and experience a hands-on ‘Meet-n-Greet’

  • Grab a good book & take ownership of the hammock (in the shade, by the big firepit)

  • The Hot-tub is not just for winter… move between pool & hot-tub for total relaxation

  • Take a hike-

    • 1/4 mile to Burnt Mountain Hiking Trails

    • 12 miles to Amicalola State Park

    • easy access to the Appalachian trail

  • Schedule a half-day rafting trip on the Ocoee River

  • Go horseback riding in the mountains or perhaps visit the nearby “Save the Horse” sanctuary and volunteer for the morning

  • Raining? No worries: Enjoy a lazy day in the cabin watching movies on the big-screen with guiltless buttery popcorn

  • Relax with a romantic picnic or happy hour & charcuterie board in “Karen’s Secret Garden” — Picnic table & two chairs await you as does an enchanting view of Sharp-top mountain. Karen’s Secret Garden is a 2 minute walk up our gravel road towards Fainting Goat Vineyard

  • Visit the Infamous Big Foot Museum (we kid you not!)

  • Enjoy an adventurous tractor ride around the property with Kevin

  • Sneak off to a quiet spot for Birdwatching

  • Visit the destination mountain towns of Dahlonega, Blue Ridge & Helen

  • Tour the North Georgia Wine Region
