Local Eats

 Kev and I do not eat out often (we both love to cook!)… Thus, we are not up to date on the local hot spots, current reviews or new restaurants. We suggest a google search for North Georgia (Blueridge and Ellijay are ‘just up the road’) with close attention to the customer reviews.   

Some restaurants with patios are dog friendly, others are not…

In addition, we have never used a food delivery service like GrubHub, but we have seen their drivers at the Guest House so we know it is an option. Again, the internet is your best resource.  😊

When we do go out, these are a few of our favorites:

 Asian:  ABLY Great Chinese, Thai and Sushi. Elegant but not stuffy.  Medium price range. Love the servers.  Across the HWY from Home Depot by Dunkin Donuts

 Burgers & Beer:  ROCCO’S Good people watching (big Harley crowd) and yummy bar food. Live music with dancing on the weekends. Super fun!  Can get very loud and very busy depending on the day. Consider calling for the wait time before you go…  South of Jasper ~5 minutes on Hwy 515

 Mexican:  EL ROBLE Delisioso. Full stop.

 Gastro Pub-  OLD MULE HOUSE Casual dress with upscale menu and prices. Sells local brews and creative dishes. Downtown Jasper, big outdoor patio.

 Pizza: ELLIJAY WOOD FIRED PIZZA on the square in Ellijay. We crazy-love their pizza. It gets  very crowded on weekends and they sometimes run out of dough… consider calling first if you are going on a Saturday or Sunday late afternoon/evening..

 Budget date- if we are on a budget date and just want to get out of the house and chill, JOHNNY’S in Jasper is our #1 go to…  Generous portions, fast service, good solid food. Love their servers.
